Luckiest girl alive!

So today Ben got me a CRICUT! I absolutely love it! He said it was "Our Valentines Present" but we all know he won't use it.. He just wanted to make me smile.... He's amazing I love him! I'm seriously the luckiest girl!!

This is what I made today! Sorry I don't have a better picture. We didn't get them hung up until 10:30 and the lighting in our bedroom is bad.. I'll take a better picture sometime soon!

Craft day is tomorrow!!

I am so excited! My cousin Amber wants to make what I'm making and I think my other cousin Kimmy does too! (its because its just that cute) and we're doing it tomorrow.. I found my stuff at Roberts today and I was so excited but then I went to walmart and the things I bought at Roberts were 7 bucks cheaper at walmart!! So yes, I'm taking them back. lol I know its only 7 dollars but still! Thats a costa vida salad right there. :) Anyways so I'm excited for tomorrow. I'll post pictures of our creations!

Teach me!

How do you get the list of your friends and family with there blogs on your site? Does that make sense? I go to peoples blogs and they are darling and they have a list of all there friends on the right side... How do I do that? Or am I just lame and can't do it.. dumb.. okay bye.

CRAFT DAY!!!

So, I've got like a million new fun things to do to our apartment. My house is darling, but its time for a change.. its been this way since we got married... which was ohhhh 7 months ago!!! CRAZY! Anyways.... I think I'm going to do it next Saturday. Kim is going to do it with me.. She doesn't know yet but she will join cuz she loves it! Anyways.. I've got so much scrapbooking to do, but I need a teacher... I'm new to scrapbooking.. I started up when we got married and I love it, but I'm just not that good at it yet.. any volunteers for the position????

A little update on us

So Ben and I have had quite an eventful year so far already. School is keeping Ben super busy because he is a Senior and his class schedule is all over the place and I've been sick with the most annoying head cold! So I've been taking medicine and vitamins daily trying to build my immune system back up..... Also, We've been looking into moving into a new apartment because ours is a little expensive for us now but a miracle happened this morning. Its funny how the lord works sometimes. My cousin Kayla is going to move into a spare bedroom. We're excited to have her and it will be helpful for us. She struggles with being away from home and she stresses over everything. So we're pretty much opposites but she's a great girl and we are so happy that she wants to stay here. I think it will be good for both of us! I love the girl.. Anyways-- Work keeps me busy, we're kinda slow right now but its going to pick up in a couple of weeks so I'll probably wish it was slow again! Oh and about New Years resolutions.. I finally decided that i'm not going to make one. haha I know it sounds dumb but I never keep it anyway. Ben set one to get into shape and he's been going to the gym everyday, but I'm just not a fan of working out.. I've decided once my metabolism stops working then I'll go to the gym :) Well thats pretty much all I can think of right now. Except that I love ben.. he's great. He seriously is the nicest husband ever! 

Christmas 2008

I love Christmas! We got to celebrate it 3 times this year!!! On the 23rd we had our own Christmas, Ben got me a beautiful picture of the SLC Temple doorknob.. it sounds weird but you'll have to come see it.. and I got Ben a Nintendo Wii.. :) Christmas Eve we spent the night at my parents house were we got a FREEZER! I think its awesome! I got scrapbooking stuff (which I love) and Ben got a cool shirt and we got Nutcrackers because I'm a little obsessed with them. Pretty much it was an amazing Christmas Eve oh! and we had the best food ever. My mom is such a great cook. Then on Christmas day We went to Ben's parents house where they were patiently (haha) waiting for us to arrive and we opened presents again! We got a sweet book with Christmas stories/poems in it, and a new computer, and movies, and all sorts of fun stuff!!!! Then Ben's mom made us more delicious food and we watched lots of movies. The the saturday after Christmas we drove up to Temple Square and saw the lights. It was beautiful. I loved it! We are so so blessed and have such amazing families. 

                   

Ecuador!

In July of 2008. Ben and I got to go to Otavalo Ecuador on a 2 week Humanitarian Trip! IT WAS AWESOME! We had so much fun and it was so rewarding to go and help the people of Otavalo. We had some amazing experiences and got to learn so much! We went with a group from Richfield that Ben's parents organized. We met so many amazing people and did a lot of hard work!!! Those Ecuadorians never stop working! Its amazing to me how fortune we are to live in the U.S.A. We are so spoiled here. At least we can flush toilet paper and brush our teeth with the water that comes out of the sink!!! Here are some pictures. We have tons and tons so I'll only post a few!

Car Accident

Hey Everyone! It's been a long time since I updated our blog. In November Ben and I were involved in a Car Accident coming home from visiting my parents in Fillmore. We will both beat up pretty good but we're recovered for the most part now.. Ben still has some neck pain but other than that were great! I put some pictures on here so you could see!
