Between Ben hating pictures and trying to convince a 4 month old to smile this is the best picture we got ha ha :) I love my little family!!

Catchin up!

These are Reagan's 3 month old pictures. He's almost 4 months now so I figured I better post them before that day :) Our friend Kati took a few shots of him for us and they are super cute.

He's a very social baby. Whenever we go somewhere he smiles and talks to whoever will talk to him. It sure makes the old ladies at the grocery store happy.

He can almost sit up by himself.

He sleeps through the night now :)

He is a very happy baby and likes to laugh but he's also a handful.

He likes to be "in the know" and always wants to do whatever we are doing.

He is definitely not a mellow baby.

He likes to be standing up and hates being on his stomach.

He is a morning person and I am not! Luckily his dad is and so they play

at 6 am while mom sleeps in :)

My birthday was on Sunday and for my birthday Reagan thought it would be fun to say Da Da.

He doesn't say it on command but it will just randomly say it. I don't think he's quite figured out that his dad is Da Da because he just randomly says it.

Now for my mini vent. As you know Ben works at US Bank and a girl there is pregnant and she thinks its weird that I am a stay at home mom. Ben will tell her sometimes that Reagan likes to be held and played with by us and she will make comments like yeah he's spoiled because his mom stays home with him. Yes I admit he is spoiled. He has everything he could ever dream of and I think every outfit Carter's clothing sells and he usually gets what he wants because I don't let him cry for very long because he starts to gag himself if I do but I think it's important that I am home with him. I don't want my son to spend time at a day care. I don't think she means it rude and there is nothing wrong with taking your babies to day care, but when Ben and I were dating he asked me what I wanted to do with my life. I told him I love my paralegal degree and I had so much fun doing it but my goal in life was to be a wife and a mother and that is one of the things he loves most about me.

Life is great. We gave up the house hunt but now we are ready to start again. So wish us luck!

3 Months Old

Update on Reagan :)

Well my baby is 3 months old today!! He's seriously so much fun. He's sleeping good and napping good which I am in love with. He loves to play with the toys on his play yard and loves to check himself out in the mirror. Reagan can roll onto his side and he LOVES pears. We got to start him on baby food a few days ago and he's only had pears so far and well he loves them. He doesn't really understand the spoon yet but he's getting better at it :)

He is a very determined little boy. He knows what he wants and when he wants it! Its going to teach me patience now but it will make for a wonderful man someday.

Sometimes he says Hi. It's not just a noise you can actually tell he's trying to say hi.

He absolutely loves his daddy. In the mornings he wakes up about the same time as Ben and Ben will go talk to him and Reagan gets so excited. It's really cute.

Oh Reagan also loves his bears :) His mobile has 3 bears on it and he will sit and talk to them and smile when we turn it to make them move.

He loves getting his diaper changed ha ha. I think it's because he likes to not have clothes on. He will sit and smile and talk to you when you do it and he gets mad when I start dressing him again.

Reagan has definitely been such a joy to have. He's not a mellow child, he's very alert and active and likes to be in the know.

Blessing Day

Reagan was blessed on Sunday April 10th, 2011. We blessed him in Ben's home ward in Richfield. We had a great weekend and it was so nice for our family and friends to be there. I really appreciate those that came and supported us. Love you guys. Ben did a great job. Reagan was eating when it was there turn to go up and they took his bottle out soooooooooooooo he was pissed. He screamed the entire blessing. You couldn't hear a lot of it so Ben wrote down what he said and the thoughts he had. It's perfect. For those of you who came I can tell you what it said if you'd like to read it. :)We don't have a lot of pictures of Reagan in his outfit yet but here are some she took of the weekend.

The past 2 months

We have had SOOO much fun the last 2 months. They have been the hardest, most tiring, most rewarding 2 months ever. Reagan is such a joy to have. He definitely keeps me on my toes. At first it was so hard for me to find balance between being exhausted and taking care of him and being a wife, but I think I've got it figured out now. :)

Reagan had his 2 month check up yesterday and he is now 12 pounds and 22 1/4 inches long! He's in the 50 percentile so he's average size :) I think he's big though! Dr. Shakula said he is very active and alert for his age so I must be doing something right! Some of his milestones are; he smiles at me all the time. Ok he smiles and whoever talks to him and sometimes he just smiles at the ceiling. He can now focus on objects in front of him and he can follow you around. He can also roll over to his side :) Reagan eats like crazy! I can't keep up with him. At nights he eats every 3 - 4 hours and during the day he eats every 2.5! Some days he isn't so demanding and will go 3-3.5 hours and other days he thinks he needs to eat every hour!

He has had some spit up problems. Not like an extreme and it doesn't cause him pain but when we went to the doctor I asked him about it and he said it's a reflux thing but it's not bad enough that he needs medicine. So he said I can either feed him smaller meals MORE often or thicken up his milk with cereal. Although it's only been 1 day he seems to be doing much better! He hasn't hardly spit up at all. Hopefully he will decide he can stay fuller long now with the cereal in his milk :)

Reagan is most definitely a Mama's boy :) I love it except when I don't feel well! He loves his dad too. He plays with Ben and it's so cute. If you can't tell from my post Reagan is a spoiled little boy but I can't help it. He's just too cute!

Oh and we've been house hunting... We've found 1 we really like but are undecided on if we want to make an offer on it. It's in Taylorsville but Bangerter is in it's backyard! It's really not noisy in the yard though but we just haven't decided. Our Realtor is being great and patient with us even though I swear she'll probably end up showing us the whole salt lake valley but hopefully we will find "the one" before she does. :)

Ben is doing AWESOME at US Bank. He's hitting bonuses and doing so well. I'm so proud :) He loves it there and I love that he's got bankers hours :) Also the people he works with are so much fun. I love them too and of course they all adore Reagan!

The house hunt has begun

Ben, Reagan and I went house hunting saturday. We found one we really like and we will probably put an offer on. It's in Taylorsville. It needs some tlc. The bathroom is so outdated and ugly and the kitchen will need to be updated sometime soon but we really like it. :) Hopefully we will get it, but it's a short sale so we are still looking for other homes. :) I'll keep you posted if we find the one!

Oh and here is my cute son. 6 weeks old!!!
