LIFE IS FULL OF SURPRISES.

Story time!!!!

Okay so 2 weekends ago my older brother Carter's girlfriend came down for my birthday and we all had a fabulous time. We went hiking with the Powells on the 16th and then we all went hot tubbin. Then sunday Ben taught in church and when we got home from church we hung out with Steph (carter's girlfriend) and Carter for a little while. Then she left and we were all talking and watching Extreme Home Makeover.. which always makes me cry.... anyways! We decided we really liked Stephanie and Carter was like yeahhhhhhh me too. THEN the following tuesday he told us he was thinking about marrying her.. and we were like cool.. maybe they'd get engaged in the summer... totally not thinking it was going to happen the next day!!! So.. carter ben and i had plans to live in this darling house, but since they were talking marriage we decided we couldn't live there because Ben and I can't afford that much rent a month.. So now its thursday and ben and I are like we have to find a place today because we thought at the time we had to get out of the apt. we're in now by the 29th so we'd only have a week to find a place and move to it. Anyways we found a bran new, vaulted ceiling 2 bed/2 bath, granite counter tops, stainless steel applainces, new carpet, never ever ever been lived in condo for $600 a month!!!! OH how this economy is great for poor people lol...We talked our landlord into letting us stay here so we didn't have to rush the new landlords into putting carpet in and letting us move in, in 5 days.. oh yeah sorry they don't have carpet right now they put it in when the tenants pay a deposit. SO on JUNE 27-28 we get to move in! Which is perfect cuz it gives us time to enjoy San Fran and get summer games over and then move so i'm freakin excited!! OHHHH And Carter is getting Married August 14th.. We think.. nothing is completely offical yet because the ring is getting re-sized.. I'm so excited tho.. She's darling!!! Okay I'm done blogging!!!! 

Easter Pictures, Institute Gradute and Seminary Student Teacher!

First of all I'm sorry I'm such a slacker and updating our blog. This is what has been going on!

Easter time!!!

   First of all we went to Fillmore and saw my family and had a great time with them and then we went to Richfield and had a Jesus Dinner.. It was cool. We ate foods that Jesus would have eaten :) THEN....

 Ben graduates from Institute :) He got an Advance Certificate.. so its like he has his masters for institute.. cool huh! Anyways.. So we go to his graduation, and for those of you that know Ben he HATES big ceremonies. So we get there and its like 7:00 and he leaves to go in the room with the gradutes and I'm just chillin in the Chapel. Then the grads walk in and by now its like 7:18 ish. And I text him and I'm like sit by me not by the gradutes! Because I'm a loser and hate sitting

 alone. But much to my suprise my reply to that text was.. Let's Jet.. I'm thinking.. what? Your really going to leave right before it starts.. and I text back saying.. well whatever you want to do but I think you should just come sit by me. AND THEN the unthinkable happens.. Ben stands up with another kid and I'm thinking ok they are just going to talk to someone.... oh no.. he walked into the room where his certificate was and I get a text saying.. Meet Ye' in the Foyer. And i was like oh... only my Ben.. ... So we did go to his graduation! But.. missed the talks and all the graduation stuff.. :) 

On to my next new exciting news.. Ben found out Tuesday he gets to teach 2 high school classes next school year. He is so excited and I am so happy for him! He'll be such an amazing teacher. I hope he gets picked at the end of this next year :)

Thats about all the news for us.. Its Birthday month for both of us.. mine is on the 15th and his is on the 25th. We're going to party!!!! Oh and we're going to San Francisco on May 29th with Ben's family.. That trip should be awesome, but I'll blog about it then :)

Exciting news!

Ben got hired on to be a Seminary Student Teacher for the next school year! He's so excited and he'll do an amazing job! I'm so proud!!! :)

Easter

I haven't updated our blog in a long time so since I'm sitting home doing nothing right now I figured I would post some pictures and update everyone. It's finals week right now and Ben has one everyday this week. I'm sure he'll do good tho, cuz he's smart. He also started student teaching last week and absolutely loves it!!! If he gets picked he'll be an amazing seminary teacher. He finds out in a couple weeks if he's been selected to student teach next year. And nothing is new with me.. except I got a raise :) Yay! oh and these are the easter cards we sent to my mom, ben's mom and my best friend Angela :) Cricuts are amazing things.. :)

So I'm a little behind...

Okay. Here is the update on me:

 I have lived at the hospital lately. Okay thats a huge lie, but I did go to the doctor 3 times last week.. if you want all the details about why I hate my doctor I'll let ya know them :). So at first they thought I had PCOS.. but I don't. So then I thought I had something else... and I don't have that either.. So pretty much everything is normal which is FABULOUS!!! A new doctor fixed me in the 3 seconds.. and now I'm on some medicine that I take for a few days and then ta da!!! Fixed. I love it. Anyways.. Ben is insanely busy.. So I don't get to see my darling husband as much as I'd like to, but he's quitting one of his jobs.. I think his last day is Saturday so I'm happy :).. Last week my beautiful mother had surgery so we went up to see her and help her our for the weekend. She's been remodeling her bedroom/bathroom and I absolutely love it! I think it will be beautiful when its done, but my mom has amazing taste so It will be great. Its fun to go up and visit my family. I have 2 darling cousins who are 3 & 2 and they love Ben. Jaxson calls everyone Ashee though which makes me feel loved. My little brother was there and it was fun to see him. I never get to and he's such an amazing guy!!! I love him. And my Dad's funny.. and goofy.. but mostly funny. I love him too! Oh yeah! Mom's doing much better :).... on to a not as happy note.

Ben's mom is sick again. :( She was admitted into the hospital today. I think she's at Utah Valley, but i'm not 100% sure on that. I just need her to get better so that in the future when we have kids she can watch them!!! lol okay I need her to get better for other reasons too. She's so much fun. Its funny to watch how she acts with her kids.. I'm probably the only one that notices little things like that but I absolutely love it. Anyways.. Thats about it for us. Married life is wonderful.  I love it. 

Countdown Day

So 1 year ago today Ben proposed. :) He calls it Countdown Day because its.. March 21st ... 3...2...1! Its crazy thats its already been a year!! I've loved it though. Life is amazing!.. Oh and on thursday we went to the St. George Temple.. Here are some pictures of that!

Update on us!

So it has been awhile since I updated our blog. So since I'm home alone with nothing to do I decided I'd let you all know what we've been up to! School had kept Ben really busy. He's got some tough classes but he's smart so I know he'll do well. Work has been crazy lately, but its good to be busy. Time seems to be flying by so fast!!! Last week we had a bit of bad news, Ben's dad called him and said his mom was in the hospital so we made arrangements to get out of school and work to go up to see her that Friday and stay until Sunday.. BUT! Then on Friday right before we were getting ready to go Ben's dad called and said she had been released from the hostital and that he was going to pick her up! We were so excited!!! So instead of going to Salt Lake we went to Richfield to see her. It was fabulous. We were all lazy and ate delicious food and had fun playing games and watching movies.. I love going out of town because it gets me away from my job and it lets me see Ben for like 75 hours straight. Which I think is just the best thing ever!

This week! Ben started another job.. He know works to much. He has a paper route from 5:30 a.m. until about 7:30 or 8:00 in the morning ( I hate this job ) and then he goes to school and day and on Tuesday he started working at Chinatown. Its our favorite restraunt in Cedar. He gets 20% off whenever we decide to eat there so it should be great!! He seems to like it so far but tonight is his 2nd night there. Work is still busy for me, but I work a minimum of 45 hours per week so it will probably always seem busy. I had a doctors appointment today.. He gave me a guess of what he thinks is wrong, but I have to go get blood work done in a week or so and then another doctors appointment so I'll know the details then. As of right now I have no idea what the deal is. Well thats pretty much all thats going on with us. Until next time! :)
